Beauty Sleep:
How well we, as women, know that we will become irritable without sleep, which often occurs when we still have young ones in the house.
However, are we aware of the damage that can be caused to our skin due to sleep deprivation?
During the night the skin is restored from the harmful effects of daily stress, and without enough sleep the first visible evidence is in the fragile skin under our eyes (which is 50% thinner than the facial skin)
Cosmetic treatments may soften the effects of sleeplessness but of course prevention is the better option as these treatments have only a limited ability and
cannot reverse the damage totally.
